Freshman Brian Davis (pictured) played a very strong game up top and got us on the board in the 28th minute. Steve Jacobsen, who now leads the team in points (17) and is tied for the lead in goals, scored his 7th of the season to put us up 2-0 just 11 minutes into the second half. Senior Michael Bowers and freshman Shawn Baker would put the game out of reach after scoring back to back goals less than a minute a part in the 65th minute. Senior Greg Bistany and Sophomore Michael Hurst would round out the scoring on the day.
We are now off to Buffalo to face #1 seed Medaille College on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m at All High Stadium. We are definitely playing our best soccer right now and look forward to the challenge of knocking off the defending champs.
Well done Bobcats! Keep the momentum going in Buffalo. Good luck!
